Fender Concert Amp
1960 Fender “center volume” Concert 5G12 serial number 00427, “JC” date stamp on original 5G12 tube chart indicates March 1960. Original cabinet recovered in rough Brown tolex. Speakers are CTS ceramic magnet date codes 18 month 1965. These are likely re-coned and sound excellent. NOS Tung Sol 5881 power tubes and a mix of old/new 12AX7 tubes. Any Brown Astron caps found to be leaking or out of spec were replaced with SoZo or Jupiter brand coupling caps. Filter caps and bias supply caps are new Sprague and Vishay brand.
